The Bluetooth™ VoIP Kit HBV-100, from Sony Ericsson Corporate Communications, is a high performance device which allows users to benefit from the lower cost calls available via the internet. The kit comprises a Bluetooth™ headset HBH-PV705 and a Bluetooth™ USB Adaptor.

The Bluetooth™ USB Adaptor simply plugs into a Windows XP PC and doesn’t require a complicated installation process. It is compatible with most global internet telephony software and communicates wirelessly with the blue colored HBH-PV705 headseat, giving to user complete handsfree freedom. The kit can be used even if the pc does not have Bluetooth built-in.

In addition to the Bluetooth™ headset HBH-PV705 and the Bluetooth™ USB Adaptor, the kit contains a standard charger and a user guide. The headset, which is blue in colour, weighs in at 14g while the black USB Adaptor weighs 8g, making the kit an attractive laptop accessory as well. The Headset talk time with a Bluetooth™ phone is up to 12 hours, while its standby time is up to 300 hrs.

Sony Ericsson has announced that the kit will be released before the end of the year.
