VOIP - Private Network is the Better Choice

VOIP is Voice over INTERNET PROTOCOL – not voice over the internet. It may seem like a fine line, but there is a difference.
VOIP over public internet lines tends to have poor quality, dropped calls, jitter, and latency. Public internet lines are not managed and do not show a distinction between voice data and data that is not time sensitive (like email).
Because the lines are not regulated, the data often makes “hops,” runs into congested spaces that don’t have the bandwidth to forward the voice date, and generally does not get the attention it needs to arrive in the end in a quality manner.
There is hope for consumers who desire to switch to the VOIP technology. There are providers that own their own networks. This allows them to control the data and limit the difficulties that come with other VOIP services.
The VOIP industry needs to help consumers understand the differences in VOIP services that are being offered. Currently there is a lack of understanding about the difference in internet networks. This lack of understanding is causing frustration among consumers whose phone service is suffering. It is one of the hitches keeping VOIP from expanding more into the general public.
VOIP companies that use the public internet do not provide reliable calls. VOIP companies that have their own managed network will offer a user a more enjoyable experience with VOIP phones calls.
