VOIP Choices if Vonage Sinks

Vonage is not the only VOIP provider on the market, although there are days that if feels that way. Vonage has had a vocal advertising campaign that has pushed it into the eyes of consumers more than the other internet phone providers out there.

With the all the trouble that Vonage has found itself in lately, many of its loyal subscribers have been looking around at the other VOIP providers that are out there. None have actually jumped ship as of yet. Most of them are just keeping their options open uncase the Vonage ship goes down under the weight of the court cases that seem to plague it.

There are several new start up names in the VOIP business, and there are some old telcos and entertainment names as well. AT&T has started up a VOIP service, as has TimeWarner. According to one site, there is even a provider called lingo (although I thought that was a game show). The great thing about the new industry is that it is growing every day. The choice of providers expands as the potential for profit continues to grow as well.

Experts are not completely sure how all this litigation will ultimately affect the VOIP giant, Vonage. Happy customers are crossing their fingers that it will come out stronger then ever after weathering the storm.
