VOIP Expands the Small Business

VOIP is not just for the casual user. This great internet technology can help the small business man save big bucks in communication expenses. It is especially beneficial to that home office that may have online employees or customers all over the world, or is looking to expand that direction.
There are several things that make VOIP attractive to the small business. The first is the cost. Of all the telecommunication choices available in today’s market, the internet is the least expensive. It also uses the same network system and most of the software that a company uses for web access and email communications.
VOIP is growing in features everyday. Subscribers now have the ability to use call waiting, caller ID, three-way calling, call forwarding, redial, speed dial, and voice mail. Most of these services come free with calling plans, but you should be sure to ask your provider.
Because of its very nature, VOIP makes it easy to establish multiple locations, with less cost for the small business. Virtual numbers can be routed to any number that you specify. Companies set up local virtual numbers based on the locations they expect the most call from and have them routed back to the home base.
VOIP offers a wide variety of choices for subscribers. Look for a company that will work with your individual needs and has strong customer service and support. Then use the web to take your business to a whole new level.
