VOIP is Going Mobile

VOIP is working its way into the mainstream of life. Fortunately, companies are aware of this trend and are working towards a system that will combine society’s attachment to the cell phone with the new technology of VOIP. WiFiMobile is launching a new service that will allow users of some Nokia mobile phones to be able to make free calls over Wi-Fi.
The new VOIP service is not just confined to Wi-Fi. If there is no connection available, users will have the option of using a network operator data plan for making calls. The downside of the new service is that calls to landlines and to mobile phones comes at a much higher rate than other VOIP services that are offered at this time.
The upside to WiFiMobile’s VOIP service is that it is easy to use. Instead of having to configure SIP settings, you just have to register you cell phone information at the website and you will be ready to start making phone calls. It is also possible to easily connect to a corporate IP PBX.
The new VOIP service from WiFiMobile will open up a whole new customer base to the internet technology. It works with users of the Nokia N and S series phones. Mobile VOIP may be the shot in the arm that the industry needs after all the court losses it has faced with Vonage as of late.
