New VOIP Service from BT

BT has introduced its own VOIP service that will allow users to access Microsoft Office documents and applications while they are away from their computer and on the move. Office Anywhere is a service that combines Microsoft Office with IP calling from WiFi connections.

This will be a great addition to the existing VOIP features for many of the SMEs who need and want the ability to work on the go. It is also going to be a cost effective way of doing this mobile business because of the variety of economical packages that are being offered.

Office Anywhere has already been launched with HTC’s S620 smart phone. It gives the users the ability to make up to one hour phone calls using BT Openzone WiFi hotspots at no cost. It is also possible to make free calls to U.K. landlines from WiFi hotspots abroad.

Office Anywhere is an affordable VOIP option for SMEs. BT is offering the new service as an alternative to the Blackberry packages now available. Free VOIP calls makes the new Office Anywhere a more valuable choice between the two services.

All of the Office Anywhere packages that are currently available include free VOIP calls. Regular calls can be added to the service in 250 or 700 minute bundles. Packages can also include emails and data transfer.
