Polycom recognised for VoIP product quality

Polycom has been recognised by consulting firm Frost & Sullivan for its VoIP product line.

Frost & Sullivan presented Polycom with its annual award for the company that best fulfils the needs of its customers. The award recognises the wide range of VoIP products provided by Polycom.

Frost & Sullivan’s decision was influenced by Polycom’s broad portfolio of IP telephones, which has positioned the company as the leader in the SIP-based desktop phone market.

Polycom’s leadership of the industry through its regular innovations was also noted. The company regularly introduces new products such as its high-definition voice technology.

Polycom works to develop strong relationships with PBX vendors and softswitch manufacturers, a strategy which the company believes has helped it to secure a strong footing in the small and medium-sized business market.

Although innovation is a key element in Polycom’s strategy, it also works hard to make sure that it continues to provide affordable solutions that are interoperable with current telecom standards.
