Vcomm UK Ltd, of Newbury, Berkshire, has entered into a partnership agreement with communications vendor Polycom.

The agreement means that Vcomm will supply Polycom’s voice over IP handset range to its UK resellers, providing them with more choice and making the market more competitive.

Polycom’s SoundPoint IP handsets are designed to provide excellent performance in SIP-based environments. VoIP solutions with Polycom phones can enhance productivity and provide significant cost savings through consolidation of network costs for voice and data.

Vcomm has also entered into a new partnership with start-up vendor Voipex, and will promote Voipex’s ViBE software to its resellers and service provider customers.

The new partnerships are inline with Vcomm’s aim to become a major player in the VoIP sector.

Vcomm was recently acquired by service provider Coms.
