VoIP provider, Vibe Communications, has deployed Genband Inc’s M6 Communication Applications Server, an integrated, scaleable, standards-based platform for delivering voice and multimedia applications.
Vibe Communications provides a total communications package for business customers with a wholesale service focus.
The M6 platform is a key element in Vibe’s service, providing VoIP, fixed, mobile, and Internet in a managed network environment. All of these services are combined into one bill.
The platform leverages new or existing broadband infrastructure to deliver advanced voice over IP services. It can help grow revenues from existing customers with enhanced multimedia applications.
It is designed for ease of administration, is compatible with most network equipment and protocols and can reliably support a virtually unlimited number of users, allowing companies to expand into new geographic markets.
Vibe uses the M6 platform to power its non-geographically restricted VoIP network. The company provides a range of applications, including mobile WiFi/GSM handoff and business PBX trunking for SMEs and enterprises.
