The second generation of VoIP conferencing and intercom systems has been launched by Talkdynamics, a global provider of IP-based voice solutions.
evoke is a VoIP, multi-user conference and intercom application that enables business users, collaborative workgroups and social networks to instantly and reliably communicate with each other on net, from anywhere in the world over any Internet or intranet device, wired or wireless, based on presence.
Using a versatile soft phone, users drag and drop contacts into a communication window to initiate ad-hoc conferences. evoke operates on any IP-based network and can be easily deployed and ready to use on existing LAN and Internet infrastructures.
evoke enables users to instantly and efficiently create multi-user voice intercommunication and conferences without having to re-establish a voice connection.
The system also provides users with private access to conference rooms, allowing multiple voice distribution of information from a single source to many listeners.
Each user is able to text any other single user. An IM session can easily be escalated to a voice session by a simple click, without having to reopen a separate window.
For companies with multiple office locations, evoke could significantly reduce the cost of voice communications, including conference calls and long distance calls, by allowing local and remote users to stay connected over any IP network.
Based in Canada, Talkdynamics also provides development tools and embedded technology to software and hardware providers for the development of IP-based voice communication, conferencing and intercom solutions. Its core competencies encompass hardware, firmware and software integration, as well as software and protocol development.
