At its annual general meeting, telecommunications services provider, Canisp Plc, reported very good progress with the development of a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) product.

The product is currently undergoing beta testing and when this process is complete, Canisp plans to market the product through its dealer network.

The company reported enthusiasm for the new product and service offering from dealers.

Canisp has undergone a successful cost-savings programme, placing it in a stronger position to develop new products.

The company now hopes to take advantage of greater awareness in the market of the benefits of Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP).

The new product should provide customers with a more cost effective and flexible commercial telecoms product.
