Mobile operator 3 is launching its Skypephone in Sweden, Denmark and Austria. The company has already introduced the phone in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Hong Kong and Italy.
The 3 Skypephone is a 3G device Internet phone which provides free Skype-to-Skype calls to anywhere in the world. Conventional calls can also be made with the handset.
The phone allows users to take advantage of free Skype calls while on the move, rather than just when connected to a PC.
The slim and lightweight device is available in black or white, and has a dedicated button for launching the Skype software.
It features a digital camera, access to music and video download services, and internet connectivity.
Texting is easy and instant messages can be sent for free via Skype. Skype conversations started on the mobile are automatically synchronised to the users PC and vice versa.
The top 5 call destinations for UK 3 Skype customers are currently the UK, followed by the USA, Poland, Germany and France.
