Raketu, a P2P VoIP application provider, has launched a new application which makes VoIP available on Blackberry smartphones.
The launch of the Raketu BlackBerry application marks Raketu’s entry into the mobile business market.
The application, which is web-based, allows Blackberry users to make international calls via VoIP, without needing to download any additional software.
Blackberry users simply log on to BlackBerry.raketu.com and sign up to access the service via their BlackBerry web browser.
As well as significant savings on the cost of international calls, SMS text messages can be sent globally at the lowest international text rates available. Users can also send email. Raketu users have access to ‘free calling zones’ in over 40 countries.
