BNS Telecom, a Northumberland-based telecoms company company, is planning a major phase of expansion.

The company, which started out as a reseller of other companies’ products, has developed into an IP carrier with its own VoIP network. It offers a comprehensive range of bundled products, not currently available to other telecom providers.

Products and services provided by BNS include payment for inbound calls; half price local, national and international calls; call recording; hardware compatible with existing systems; VoIP on your mobile; voicemail to email; links to Skype; fax to email; and video calling.

BNS believes it is at least three years ahead of its competitors and is strongly positioned to capitalise on current and emerging market opportunities.

The company is one of only four Vodafone service providers. It offers a number of mobile packages which include free landline calls. It also provides the innovative WiDial service which allows business calls to be made over VoIP while in wi-fi hotspots.
