BT Business has entered into a partnership with RingCentral, a US-based online communications company, to launch BT RingCentral, the latest in its range of web-based tools.

RingCentral helps UK SMEs present a more professional image by intelligently managing their phone, mobile, and fax communications.

BT RingCentral is designed to be easy for small and medium-sized businesses to set-up and maintain, and does not require any outlay on hardware, which can be expensive to maintain.

The service provides a professional phone system with a range of sophisticated features, including advanced call management and PBX features, voicemail and internet fax capabilities.

RingCentral costs £15 (excl VAT) per month, providing the company with a non-geographic 0800 Freefone or an 0844 Contactcall number.

This can be used for multiple extensions with voicemail, automatic call screening and forwarding, a click-to-call button to use on web sites and e-mails, call logs for sales leads, fax capabilities and message alerts.

Callers can be welcomed with a customised greeting, in-queue music or promotional announcement.

It also allows users to make, screen and answer calls online, via the “Desktop Call Controller”.
