VoSKY, which specialises in developing Skype for business solutions, has entered into a partnership with VoIP company, AltiGen Communications Inc, to provide ‘Skype Extension Anywhere’.
Combining AltiGen’s VoIP solutions, with Skype, ‘Skype Extension Anywhere’ allows companies to connect their employees via Skype’s VoIP network, with significant savings on communications costs.
The solution is designed to allow employees working away from the office access to the corporate phone system using a Skype -enabled mobile phone, Skype phone, or laptop with the free Skype client installed.
Workers have access to the same features as their office-based colleagues, including transfer, conferencing, reporting, voice recording, and voicemail features.
Skype Extension Anywhere transparently routes incoming calls to a remote device without compromising voice quality or reliability. It is designed as an alternative to deploying SIP-based soft phones that rely on the public Internet.
Skype Extension Anywhere provides the flexibility to add remote workers as and when needed - all that is required is to deploy the free Skype client software. There are no contracts or setup fees.
Companies can also use VoSKY Exchange which provides long-distance and international phone calls at a lower cost through the SkypePro and SkypeOUT services.
