Sipcall.com Inc. has launched Hipsip, a free worldwide mobile communications community, providing Skype, SIP and EmailCall from any mobile phone. US company Sipcall.com develops innovative Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) services for consumers worldwide.

Hipsip is Sipcall’s mobile VoIP service that allows calls to Skype and SIP contacts from any mobile phone, and does not require the installation of an application on the mobile phone.

Initially, the browser-based Skype and SIP calling service is initially available in seven countries. Hipsip turns any mobile phone into a VoIP phone, by allowing users to call their Skype contacts with one click directly from the mobile browser.

The service was created to make cost-effective Internet calls available to anyone with a mobile phone, regardless of model or make. Hipsip provides VoIP on mobile, without the need for an advanced 3G or Wifi mobile phone.

In order to use Hipsip, users register at http://www.hipsip.com and download the Hipsip Bridge application for Mac or PC. After this, users can immediately see their Skype contacts' online status in the mobile phone browser, and call them with one click. The actual call is carried over the regular phone system through a number local to the user.

Skype, SIP and EmailCall from the mobile browser is currently available in Germany, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the US. More countries will be added in the near future. Users worldwide can also make Skype calls from any SIP compatible phone, such as the Nokia N and E Series.

EmailCall allows anyone to turn their email address into a phone number and can be used by entering a URL like hipsip.com/jane@hotmail.com into the mobile browser, returning the associated mobile number.
