Hosted VoIP provider, Voicenet Solutions, has secured a contract to deploy a hosted VoIP solution for the Empire Cinema chain.

Voicenet’s all in one VoIP package, VNcomplete, will be implemented in Empire’s 17 cinemas across the UK.

VNcomplete is a fully hosted solution with built-in Quality of Service. It is supported by Cisco hardware.

It will be used to answer all enquiries and booking calls, and will give Empire Cinemas greater control and flexibility when dealing with calls from customers.

The system will simplify communication between the chain’s sites, including its head office and will also provide the opportunity to implement new revenue generating number systems within the network.

Voicenet’s solution is expected to provide greater functionality than the company’s existing PBX system, at a significantly lower cost.

Empire Cinemas expects to save around £100,000 over the first 12 months of implementing the new system.
