Zycko, a distributor of convergent IT solutions, gained a new partnership with Force10 Networks at the end of April, but has now been dropped as Polycom’s UK VoIP product distributor.

Since terminating its relationship with Zycko, Polycom has appointed Vcomm as its sole distributor in the UK for products such as its Microsoft Office communication server-compatible CX range of handsets.

However, the loss of its Polycom deal follows positive news for Zycko, which was selected as Force10 Networks first UK distributor in April.

Force10 Networks and Zycko are collaborating on a new product, the C150 resilient switch, which will add reliability, network control and scalability to support business critical applications.

Zycko, which has its UK base in Cirencester, distributes best-in-class convergent IT infrastructure solutions through a channel of resellers, systems integrators and service providers.
