Skype toolbar optimised for Salesforce CRM

Skype has announced the integration of its “Click to Call” toolbar for Skype-enabled Salesforce CRM users.

The “Skype add-on for Internet Explorer” and “Skype extension for Firefox” allow Salesforce CRM users to seamlessly use Skype to call contacts in their Salesforce CRM application contact list.

Business users will be able to call customers and other contacts while viewing their relevant information.

Conference calls can be set up with up to 25 participants, including other Skype users, and those using landline and mobile hone numbers.

Users also have access to the Skype for Business Control Panel (BCP), a free web-based tool, at www.skype.biz.

This facilitates the management of multiple Skype accounts, and the monitoring of call activity.

For a limited time, Salesforce CRM users will be offered vouchers to make calls from Skype and to manage multiple Skype accounts during a 30-day trial period.
