Aastra is launching the MX-ONE Compact, a cost-effective unified communications solution, targeted small and medium businesses.
The solution is designed to allow SMBs to move to pure IP and Unified Communications (UC) at their own pace.
Michael Calvert, Aastra’s managing director for the UK and Ireland, said: “Now, small and medium businesses can get the benefits of a full-featured and scalable enterprise grade solution for deployments up to 300 extensions in a cost effective way”.
Features of the Aastra MX-ONE Compact include integrated mobility productivity enhancing tools such as presence management.
Earlier this year Aastra announced that it had entered into a partnership with 8×8 to offer co-branded Virtual Office business IP phones from Aastra, bundled with the 8×8 Virtual Office suite.
