Shoretel keeps best IP Telephony provider title

ShoreTel Inc has been named Best IP Telephony Provider in the Nemertes PilotHouse Awards for the sixth year running.

1,393 companies participated in the 2009 awards, which rated 39 IP Telephony vendors.

The Nemertes awards are based on the experiences of IP-telephony decision-makers.

Shortel was selected for its low prices, wide range of features, good customer services and ease of deployment.

Nemertes reported that “Customers routinely praise their purchases of ShoreTel gear as providing an exceptional set of features and a highly resilient architecture at both lower upfront and ongoing costs than its competitors”.

ShoreTel has also been named one of the fastest growing companies in North America.

The company was placed 228th in Deloitte’s list of 500 of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and environmentally-friendly companies in North America.
