Netviewer five provides multi user VoIP

Netviewer AG, Europe’s leading provider of real-time collaboration software, has announced new versions of one2one and one2meet, which will provide enhanced speech transmission through VoIP.

The conferencing software eliminates the telephone charges which can be associated with online meetings.

Netviewer five also features multi-video display, a survey creator, a Skype plug-in, and an individually customisable user interface with floating windows.

A new multi-video function allows six users to view each other in real time video windows, proving a more ‘true-to-life’ conferencing experience, where participants can see facial expressions and gestures.

Participants can also see and hear the conference in a Webinar mode similar to that used for shareholders’ meetings.

The survey creator tool allows participants to take part in pre-prepared poll at any time during a conference.

Netviewer five now also offers a plug-in for Skype. Skype users can invite participants and start Netviewer conferences directly from Skype.

Netviewer five will be demonstrated at the Online Information 2007 event at Olympia, from the 4th to the 6th of December.

Germany-based Netviewer has subsidiaries in Switzerland, France, The United Kingdom, The United States, The Netherlands, Austria, Spain and Italy.
