Vonage chases Skype 0207 customers

November 28, 2007

Vonage is looking to accommodate Skype users who want to continue using their 0207 numbers.

Skype shocked their UK community earlier in the year by announcing that 0207 numbers would not be supported after December 20th, which could impact as many as 10,000 Skype users.

Vonage have set up a helpline specifically for Skype users to call if they wish to continue using their 0207 number: 0808 178 9617.

Vonage call plans start from £5.99/month for unlimited calls to UK and Ireland landline calls and £7.99 for international call packages.

After the recent turmoil Vonage as a company has undergone, it’s interesting to see that they are still able to react quickly to opportunistic market conditions.
