Timico appoints Director of Business Development

January 14, 2009

Timico Group, a Nottinghamshire based Unified Communications company, has appointed Steve Hodges to the new role of Director of Business Development.

Hodges will be charged with boosting sales of Timico’s Unified Communications solutions to companies with over 250 employees.

From a report just released by Dimension Data, it seems that one of the problems he could well experience is convincing the management board of these companies that implementing Unified Communications will be worthwhile.

Dimension Data found that less technology minded executives at larger companies, were unaware of the cost saving and productivity benefits that unified communications can provide.

However the excellent reputation of Timico’s solutions should help Hodges in his task, as just last month Timico won the Best Unified Solution Award at the 2008 ITSPA awards.

Timico’s unified communications solutions cover a company’s entire communication requirements, including internet, fixed phone line, VolP and mobile.

The company’s head office is in Newark, and it has satellite offices in Ipswich and Newbury, where its KeConnect and Twang.net subsidiaries are based.
